1. This agreement
These terms are between you and Luminary Steps, of Qubikals, Rohit Nagar, Bawadiya Kalan, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, 462039, India. They apply every time you use this website, take the assessment, read a report or book a session. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
Our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy are part of these terms.
2. Who may use it
The service is built for students in Grades 6 to 12 in India, so we expect most of our users to be under 18. If you are under 18, you may use Luminary Steps only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, and only they may make a purchase. By buying anything you confirm that you are 18 or older, or that a parent or guardian is making the purchase for you.
3. Your account
- You sign in with Google. Keep that Google account secure — anyone who can open it can open your reports.
- One account per student. The assessment result is only meaningful if the answers are your own.
- Give us accurate details. Your grade and stream decide which questions you are asked, so a wrong grade produces a report built on the wrong assessment.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
4. What we provide

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include any applicable taxes. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. We may change prices at any time, but never for something you have already bought.
5. Paying
Payments are handled by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Access is unlocked once the payment is confirmed, which is usually immediate; if a payment is confirmed late, your access is unlocked when it clears. If you were charged and nothing unlocked, write to us and we will fix it.
Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Guidance, not a guarantee
Your report is an informed opinion, produced from your own answers and from published career data. It is meant to help you think, ask better questions, and talk to the adults around you with something concrete in hand.
7. Retakes
You can take the assessment 3 times for free. Once you have bought a Career Blueprint, that rises to 5 attempts in total. The limit exists because repeated retaking makes the result less honest, not more.
A retake produces a new report. Reports you have already paid to unlock stay unlocked and readable.
8. Share links
A Career Blueprint can be shared with a link that works for 7 days and needs no sign-in. Whoever holds the link can read the report, so treat it like the report itself. You can mint a fresh link whenever you need one.
9. Career Architect Sessions
- A paid session gives you one credit, which you use by booking a slot on our scheduling page.
- Sessions run for one hour, online over video or in person at our Bhopal centre, whichever you chose when buying. An in-person session is available in Bhopal only; if you are elsewhere, you are welcome to travel to us, and you will be told so before you buy.
- To move a booked session, reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not attend a booked session and have not rescheduled, the credit is treated as used.
- A session is a guidance conversation with a career counsellor. It is not therapy, tutoring, or an admissions service.
- A parent or guardian books the session in their own name and attends at least the first ten minutes of any session with a student under 18, online or in person; they are welcome to stay for all of it. If no parent or guardian is present at the start, the counsellor waits five minutes and then reschedules. The first time this happens the credit is not used; after that it is.
- Sessions are not recorded, by us or by you. Ask the counsellor for a written summary instead.
10. How you may not use it
- Do not resell, republish or redistribute your report or our question bank.
- Do not scrape, copy or bulk-download the site, or try to get at accounts or data that are not yours.
- Do not probe, overload or interfere with the service, or try to get round the retake limits, the payment flow or the link expiry.
- Do not create accounts for other people, or impersonate anyone.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we do, and you have paid for something you have not received, we will refund that part.
11. Who owns what
The assessment, the question bank, the report format, the roadmaps, the site and the Luminary Steps name are ours. Buying a report gives you a personal, non-transferable right to read, share and use that report for your own career planning — not a right to the underlying material.
Your answers and your profile remain yours. We use them to produce your report.
12. Availability
We are a small team and the product is still young. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and the service is provided as it is.
13. Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for choices made on the basis of a report — including lost opportunities, exam or admission outcomes, or lost earnings. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
14. Ending it
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy. We can close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Sections 11, 13 and 15 survive the end of this agreement.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Please write to us first — almost everything is settled faster by email than by anyone’s lawyer.
16. Changes and contact
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the product if the change is a significant one. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
